A Wonderful Suprise

Still in no mood to talk, but wanted to do this quick post of the wonderful suprise that I recieved today.

Upon opening the box I see a heart full of one of my favorite candies…Reeses Peanut Butter Cups!!! And an adorable little white bear that is holding a tube of White Peony lotion… The lotion smells devine!! In the bottom of the box, there was a brown envelope for my girls. *S* How thoughtful to send something for them!! It was full of stickers!!! They will have so much fun putting the stickers in their sticker books!!!

The only thing missing was a letter or a note! But than I know how difficult it is to write something to someone you don’t even know!! It was a wonderful suprise, and one I wasn’t expecting!!

*sigh* I haven’t been a very good SS this month….time, money, and even the desire seem short this month, and I really feel aweful about it!! I hope my SS forgives me!!

Was overjoyed to recieve a card from my SS, with another very sweet message on the inside! Really makes me feel good to recieve these things!!

In other SS news, a package that I mailed on the 21st of Dec. priority mail, finally arrived to my SS..*shakes head* I have no idea why it took so long to get there, but am happy that it finally arrived apparently safe and sound!!

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately…Haven’t felt good (especially tonight), and have been busy, and really haven’t had the desire to blog…

Recieving My First

I was overjoyed today to recieve my first mailing from my SS…I didn’t think I would get anything again today, because I had checked the mail at my PO box, and nothing was there…(Silly me couldn’t remember if I gave the house address, or the PO box) and I thought mail had already been delivered to the house, but Des said she saw the mailman come by, at 5pm…That’s unusual, as he’s usually here early afternoon…In any case, I was estatic!!

I have to apologize at the lack of pictures…I don’t have a digital camera of my own, and had plans to use my sister’s, but it is currently unavailable, with now availability in sight!! (Tamara, I hope that’s okay!!)

I recieved 4 sheets of “Precious Moments” stickers, that are just darling!! The girls both have sticker books, that these will look great in..(SS hope you don’t mind!!).

I also recieved a bookmark, with Deut. 26:11 on it…”Rejoice in every good thing!” It is a good reminder to me!! I love bookmarks!! I put that one right into one of my devotionals!

Best of all in the package, was a letter. A very sweet apology and explanation of why she was late sending things. It was nice to know that she hadn’t forgotten about me, and most of all that she had been praying for me! It was also nice to know that she trys to check my blog daily…That I am in her thoughts enough to make her take the time to go to my blog!! There are times, many times that I feel so lonely, and to know that people come to my blog, that people are out there, is really comforting!!

I would like to share a part of the letter that especially touched me, and is making me tear up as we speak…

“After reading your blog this week, I would like to encourage you to just keep on trusting God-especially concerning your Dec 18th entries! I am lifting you up in prayer and I am so excited about the praise reports that are on the way!! (hugs)”

At the end of the letter, she quoted Romans 1:7 “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”

All in all, it was a perfect suprise for the day!! It touched my heart, as it always does, to know that people do care for me!!

Thank you soooooo very much SS!!!!

Waiting Anxiously

I mailed my first SS package out like on the 6th, and ever since then I’ve been waiting on the edge of my seat to see that post saying they recieved it, but still nothing…Okay, maybe I’m rushing things a bit, with the Holiday mail service, but I still hope to see that entry soon!!!

I haven’t recieved anything yet either, but like I said, with the Holiday mail service, it could take a bit longer….Or maybe something has come up with my SS sender to delay things…or oh who knows…I just hope that everything is okay with the one sending to me, and I pray my package arrives safely to the one I’m sending to!!!

Secret Sister Shopping

When we were at Walmart today, I did a bit of shopping for my secret sister. Found acouple of different great items, as well as some great ideas for future packages.

I am very excited about being a SS, and I truly hope that I can bless and encourage my sister!! I am rather concerned about this, because I am always the one seeking encouragment!!! A few people here in blogland, have told me that I am great at encouraging them, and I hope that’s true!

Secret Sister’s

I am signed up for the Homeschool Moms Secret Sister Session #3!

I am so excited about this!!! I read so many blogs that were people involved in the last session, and I was really interested in doing it, so when signup came around again, I was quick to sign up!!

I only hope that I am a good secret sister!! We are meant to encourage our SS’s and well, usually I am looking to be encouraged, so I’m a little anxious to see if I’m a good SS’s!!

Guess we will see.
