What is your favourite book and why?

*ROTFLOL* Okay, so maybe some people have 1 favorite book…but not me!!!! I love reading way too much to have 1 favorite!!….I don’t even have 1 favorite author…

Now I will say that I have favorite authors within their style of writing….Like for westerns, my favorite author is Louis LaMour….I don’t think there will ever be a western writer that will ever touch Louis….

And for romance, well my favorite would be Nora Roberts. There are many other good romance writers, Christian and non-Christian, but I don’t think I’ve read one yet that is as consistantly good as Nora Roberts…I have NEVER found a book by her, and I should say under the name of Nora Roberts, that I haven’t loved, and been enthralled with…

Another favorite author would be J.K. Rowling, with the Harry Potter series…BUT the Harry Potter books are the only ones that I’ve read by her…so I can’t say how consistantly good she will be….

Favorite book….I couldn’t even begin to name a favorite book written by 1 author…Thinking of Nora Roberts, I can think of 3 triologies that I just adore, and that’s right off the top of my head….No one can expect an avid, varied reader, such as myself to have 1 favorite book, or one favorite author!!!

What is the best way to treat meddlesome people?

Soooooo could not pass this one up, when I found it today!!! My answer……

Tell them to “butt” out!!!!

But than I guess there could be different ways to interupt “meddlesome”. My take on it, is someone who keeps trying to run your life, and tell you what to do, and how to do it…and so on….

The thing about it is, I’m brave in writing…Yep, can be the queen of “nasty notes”, but when it comes to actual face to face confrontation, I’m usually much quieter and reserved…Unless I’m seriously upset!!! Will let them say whatever they wish, and just usually ignore what they say, instead of telling them to bug off…..

Time of Day

What is your favourite time of day?

Oh goodness….Well, I like the nighttime, because everything is quiet and peaceful…but then I like the daytime because well, that’s when I get to spend time with my kids…

You know, you might think I sound obsesive of the girls or something, but the plain truth of the matter is that they are the reason that I’m alive!! They are the sun and moon in my world. They are what keeps me working, paying bills, trying to make a better life for them…They are the reason that I’m a grown up, somewhat responsible adult!! Without them,…well, I think I would be a lot different person than I am!!!

The Worst Thing

What is the worst thing parents can do to their children?

Wow, that’s a tough one…but I think all the things that I think of, such as not educating them against smoking, drugs, sex, and so many other things really boils down to one thing…

I think the worst thing that parents can do to their children is…..not spend quality time with them!!!!

Now do keep in mind that what I say does exclude parents beating on their children and such….I was talking about people that really do “try” to be a good parent….and well, this isn’t coming out right, so I’m going to leave this alone for now….

Please take a moment today, and spend it with your child…Just you and him/her…Color together, take a walk together, read a book together, or talk…but make sure that you turn off the tv, shut off the computer and game systems, and don’t forget to ignore the phone…Let your child know that you really do care about them, and want to spend some time doing something with THEM, not taking care of them

What is a good neighbor?

Hmm, well I would say that a good neighbor is someone that isn’t nosy, and always poking their nose into my business, or what goes on at my house…but I would also say they are friendly, and don’t mind of my kids ball goes into their yard. Someone that feels that they can come over for a cup of coffee every once in awhile, and to borrow a cup of sugar or whatever the case. Someone that given the emergency call into work, or vehicle breaking down, wouldn’t mind watching the kids for a few hours…

Do you think I want too much?? *LOL*

What Is??

What is your favourite room in your home and why?

Hmm…I’d have to say my livingroom….because…………..that’s where my computer is!!!! *LOL* It is wonderful to have a computer!!! You can find out about ANYTHING you want on the computer/internet!! You can have friends, you can keep in touch with friends and family. You can write your journals without getting writer’s cramp, and you can make money doing it!!!! The possibilites are endless with computers!!!

Next to that, I’d have to say my bedroom…because I get to sleep most of the time when I go in there!!! *LOL*

Something I Do Well

What is something you do well?

Hmmm, unlike the other post I did, about something about myself that I dislike, with this one, I can’t think of that much to say!!!!

I could say that I read well, but really is that “all that”?? Okay, so I can read well, does that really get me anywhere in my life?? It brings me great enjoyment to read, but does it really have a big impact on my life??

I could say that I can do several different types of crafts well….But again, does that really get me anywhere in life?? Again it is something that I enjoy immensely, but how does it benefit me, or my children??

I could say that I do my job well….but lots of people could do my job, if they set their mind to it, so I don’t consider that any special talent.

Gee, I sound like such a special person don’t I??

Something I Dislike

What is something you dislike about yourself?

Wow, I have no idea where to start…so many different things come to mind!!! I guess the biggest thing that I dislike about myself is my lack of patience!!! It’s not only the kids that try my patience, but they are probably the ones that do it the most…I know that they are just kids, and that they (most of the time) don’t try to irratate me, and cause me to lose my patience, but regardless of their ill intent, it still happens…I wish I had more patience with them!!!
