Grief swamped her as she entered the garage. Tools lined the walls, floor jacks sat under the benches. The smell of oil and grease was in every part of this garage. It was here that she felt closest to her father, because this had been his place. The place where he spent most of his free time, the place where he found peace. She wished she could feel his peace.

I can definitely see the advantages of gps for truckers, however I do hope that the mapping companies for the gps take into account that semi trucks can not go everywhere other vehicles can. There are weight limits on bridges, height limits on some overpasses, as well as certain corners/turns that a big truck just can’t make. So I hope that the gps for truckers takes all of that into account before they market them.

I supposed to be writing about yakima bike racks, but I’m a bit frustrated which makes my thoughts turn to goo. The constant interuptions when I’m working annoy me to no end, plus this is the second day in a row that I’ve forgotten to do a chore in the mornings like it’s supposed to be done. I don’t function well in the mornings, and tend to forget about things….
Grr. I think I’d better go, and find some contructive way of venting my frustrations…..

Cooking Jobs have been a part of family discussions, and family life for the last 18 years of my life. My Mom and Uncle worked in resturants pretty much their whole life, and so the stories were always flying around in conversations. My Uncle still works as a cook, my sister is a manager at a bar and grill, and has spent her fair share of time cooking. Well, for that matter all of my brothers and sisters from that side of the family have spent their time in kitchens.

I quit wearing watches years ago. It seemed everytime I bought one that just a month or two later it would quit working. Then again, I never spent the money for citizen watches either. I suppose if I did that perhaps it would stay working more than a month or two, but I’m sorry, I just feel that I could put that money to better use than buying a watch…I don’t even miss wearing a watch.
