The advancement of society astonishes me, especially in the medical field. Take ekg machines for example. This can help diagnose problems with your heart, and then the doctors can treat you. Yet things like cancer still steal the lives of our loved ones. We can remove limbs and replace them with artificial ones, but we can stop the cancer from eating away at our bodies. This saddens me, and I pray for the day when this will change.

I haven’t done a “Sunday Scribblings” post in a very long time, but I’m trying to get back into devoting time to my blogs, other than just the work I do. So here goes…..
I really don’t know if I’ve ever been a messenger, or even encountered a messenger, other than yahoo messenger of course. *LOL* However there have been times when I am so sad, frustrated, stressed out, or lonely, and it seems I can feel the comfort of my lost ones around me. My guardian angels? Perhaps. It is a comfort to know that they are there with me.

To buy gold is easier said than done in this day and age, in my opinion. I mean who has the money to invest in anything? The government is talking about shutting down, the military is faced with not getting paid. Who is really thinking about investing right now.
I feel bad for our military service men and women and their families. They depend on their paychecks just as much as you and I do, however they are the ones putting their lives on the line for our freedom.

After his Maritime injury he knew it was time to go home. He hadn’t been home in almost 8 years. You could say that he had run away, although he was 18 when he did it. Life had not been what he had wanted, and so he moved on, now he was going back. He tried to push the nerves from his thoughts, but it seemed impossible. Home had become a dream to him. He never thought he would go back. He wondered what, if anything had changed. He wondered if he would fit in any better now than he had so long ago.

Okay, I know I’ve said it about a million times before, but I’m going to try to take a more active roll in my blogging. Many times lately I’ve not felt the desire to blog about my personal life, or even the idle chit chat that I so often write about. I do know that I love blogging, and am going to try and discover that love again, instead of it just being an inconvience or something.

You all are invited to a carpet cleaning raleigh….Oh wait, I suppose that should be “rally”….*LOL*
I got to looking at my livingroom carpet today and was astounded at how disgusting it was!!! So as soon as I know that the weather is going to stay halfway nice, I’m going to clean my carpet!!!! We will go do school at the park that day, or perhaps I will send the kids off to bed and then clean it hoping that it will be dry by morning or something. I’m just disgusted by how nasty it’s gotten over the winter!!

Gotta love all those different college flags that they have now. I will admitt that lots of them are pretty neat in color or design, but I guess I’m kind of minimalist when it comes to wall decorations and such.
As the girls get older, and get more interested in such things, I suppose it’s possible that they will want some of those flags for their room, but who knows.
