Apidexin

June 26th, 2010 -- Posted in Piggy Bank | No Comments »

I don’t know what apidexin is, and really tonight, I’m too tired to go do the research on it. It reminds me of the appendix, hmm, maybe it’s some medicine used in conjuction with your appendix. Or maybe I’m just way off base and it has nothing to do with that.

I’m usually more up on my medicines, procedures and such, but I’ve been lax lately, as I haven’t had use for that type of knowledge.

Outdoor Fireplaces

I’ve always liked the pictures I’ve seen of outdoor fireplaces, but it makes me wonder why you would want one. I can see having an indoor fireplace, but outside, I think a campfire would work just as well.

There is nothing better than sitting outside under the stars with a campfire going. I really have a yearning to go camping again….I should see if my brother has some tents and stuff, and rope him into coming with the girls and I.

How I Protected my Home

June 15th, 2010 -- Posted in Piggy Bank | No Comments »

Thanks to guest blogger Wendy Morse.

After moving in to my new Houston home I decided that the standard door lock was not enough for me. I needed more security so I could feel that me and my family were always going to be safe. I began to look at options for adding security to my home, and decided to do a couple of different things.

First and foremost on my list of additional home security measures was to contact Adt security system priceand install an alarm system. After this had been installed I wanted to take it one small step farther and had locking windows installed as well. The windows are shatterproof, which means that they can not be broke. They’re like the ones you see in banks and quick markets, only designed for the home. I can open and close them as I wish, and the lock is so simple, with one easy step to do the trick. With these small steps I know feel so much more secure knowing that my home is fully protected. You can never be to sure these days, and I would rather be safe than sorry!

Mesothelioma Treatment

June 10th, 2010 -- Posted in Piggy Bank | No Comments »

Mesothelioma treatment wasn’t an easy thing, for her, or for her family to go through either, but she was strong and determined to survive.

She was sorry that this happened to her, and to her family. It was hard for her, but much harder to see her family struggle as well.

Going to the hospital for treatment always tore at her heart, because of all the other people that she saw there. Some of which she knew would not survive.

Invitations

Goodness, I hadn’t realize it had been so long since I had done any entries here. Time seems to fly sometimes, especially with everything going on.

Softball games, swimming lessons, invitations to visit family, shopping….yep, I’ve been busy lately. It will be at least July until things settle down for us, and even then we have some things planned. The girls have been invited to go and stay a few days with their Aunt, and are really looking forward to it!

Well, I guess it’s back to work for me. Hopefully I’ll get more time, and more enthused about getting on here and getting some entries done.
