Well I’ve done a bit of work here. I still have more work to do on one of my other blogs, but that will be put on hold for a little bit while I get something to eat.
I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with some simple meals to fix during the week. It seems I’ve forgotten everything I used to fix in that six months of no cooking at Bubble’s. I don’t usually fix anything really big or fancy during the week, but save that for when Dad is home with us, but I do like to, or at least used to like, cooking simple meals during the week as well.
I’m also having to compile major shopping lists to get us resupplied on what we need. In fact I need to locate my list, and will probably make a Sam’s club run this next week.

Many times I’ve considered diets and other ways to lose weight. I’ve looked at the quick weight loss diets, the slow ones, the heathy ones, and all the others, but really things like that aren’t the answer for me. If I watch what I eat, and I don’t even have to watch that closely, and if I stay active I do quite well at losing a bit of weight, and also maintaining that weight loss.
Weight loss, in my opinion, doesn’t do you any good if you just put the weight back on a few months later.

I’m not sure I could ever write out something like diet pill reviews. I’m just not that good at putting things in an official sounding way. Stories in my own words, or posts like this, where I can just kind of ramble on I can do, but to put something in a thought out manner. Planning where certain paragraphs go and such, it’s just not my talent as Des would say.

With the warmer weather comes higher humidity, and more sweating. It’s this time of year that I have the most trouble with acne. Thankfully it’s very mild, and I hope the same holds true for the girls so that they don’t need any special acne treatments. I’ve tried to encourage lots of face washing, but you know kids….well at least my kids. They love to get dirty, and feel they can’t spare the two extra minutes to wash their faces. *L* I used to be just like them.

This house could used some Hinkley lighting. My bedroom lighting is horrible!! I don’t even really have enough light to read on my bed, which is my most favorite spot to read.
The girls room has decent lighting, except that their is no light switch by the door. The switch is on the light fixture which is over in a corner of the room. It’s quite annoying not being able to turn on a light when I go into a room.
The livingroom isn’t all that great either, but the landlord is planning on putting in a different light fixture in here.

Chief has been doing wonderfully. We moved his corral around acouple of times this past weekend, so he could get some grass. We had a rope on him, fly sprayed him twice. Had his halter off, back on, and off again. I’ve had hands on him every day for the past 5 days I think it is….Meg even got to pet him tonight for several minutes, and feed him treats.
We did have an issue about the water with the people that live where we have Chief. They were wanting us to pay double what it actually costs to water Chief. Completely silly, but not unexpected as I didn’t like her from the first moment I met her. Anyway, we solved the problem by going and getting some 5 gallon water jugs. We are filling the jugs here at home, and driving them over in the car. It’s rather inconvienent, but well worth avoiding trouble with those people. I do kind of feel bad for spending over $100 dollars on hose, and now not needing it, but oh well.
Anyway, it’s time to get some work done.

Having a fire rip through your home, destroying everything you own always seems to be one of those things that people think happen to others, but never to them. It doesn’t keep it from happening, but getting fire insurance can at least help recover some of the material losses. I urge you to get some fire insurance quotes. It doesn’t save a life, it doesn’t save your home, but at least it can help.

As the girls get older I realize that things are changing. I knew at some point that I would have to teach them about all the womanly things. Shaving, bras, periods, and other such things. It’s truly been a journey this far, and the journey has yet begun. I’m hoping by good hygiene that we can avoid the need for acne medication, but trying to get through their thick heads sometimes makes me wonder. *LOL* I love my girls no doubt, but they need to realize that good hygiene is essential for so many reasons!!

The dark circles have been rather noticable under my eyes and even Megan’s lately. I thought the school schedule was sometimes hetic, but I don’t think that will compare with our summer schedule, at least for the first month or so.
We have been staying up later than usual, enjoying not having to get up early for school, but I think I’m going to have to start going to bed earlier if I want to survive this summer. *LOL* I love it though, it’s so much fun seeing the girls involved in so much!

I wouldn’t mind some joint pain relief as my wrist often hurts, but for the last several days it’s been my leg muscles that have been killing me…I’m not sure of the cause…We did do a lot of walking and standing at playday, but that was a week ago. Since then I haven’t done anything that would make my muscles sore. I’m going to have to try and stretch those muscles out, and hopefully that will help.
