It’s not always being short, but she had learned to compensate quite well. People who knew her didn’t pay any attention to her height, but people she just met tended to just see small, and short. She used seat lifts from time to time, but not because she was ashamed of being short, they just helped get her up where she needed to be for certain things. She didn’t wear high heals to appear taller, she wore them because she wanted to, because they made her feel beautiful. She had learned to accept her size, and even love being short.
