I have been really happy that I haven’t had to worry about paying car insurance these past months. The downfall to that is that I don’t have a car…but you know, can’t have everything!! *LOL*…Really it hasn’t been too bad, not having a car. We are deffinitely encouraged to walk more, and more exercise is always good, especially when I’m trying to lose weight! The downside is that I have to plan when we go to the store, and my poor sis has to go to the trouble of coming and taking us to the store and other places like that. I like, and miss the option of just deciding spur of the moment that I want to go somewhere!

Maybe with taxes I can look into getting a vehicle again, but I have to look at being able to pay the insurance on it to!

There is a certain appeal to extended stay hotels, a maid to come in and clean, no matter what a mess you leave the room in. You can move on easily when you get itchy feet (which she often did), life was simple and uncluttered. She had designed her life this way, it was what she had always wanted, dreamed of, and now she had it. The question being, is this what she still wanted?

Thoughts of the ranch, the family, and the old homelife intruded on her thoughts once again. She had once felt hemmed in by the ranch and her family’s expectations and affections, but now she wondered if she had walked away too quickly.

Hearing “life insurance no medical exam” is pretty common these days, as is hearing the need for life insurance, car insurance, house insurance, renter insurance….The television, radio, magazines, newspapers, billboards, and any other way for people to advertise is covered with insurance, insurance, insurance. It’s all for our benefit, or so they claim, but I really wonder how much it will help in days to come.

I think we all need to take a look at ourselves, the state of the world, and the fact that God is our real provider and protector. No amount of insurance money in the world is going to help us at world’s end.

The promotional products were all in place, every detail had been seen to, everything had been taken care, now all she had to do was sit back and relax. Her part of the job was complete. She took a final look around, and then headed out the door, away from the crowds, lights, and sounds.

Alone in her office once more, she sat and took a deep breath. She was always happy when a job had been completed, and was a booming success, and yet it was always kind of a letdown when a job was done, until of course she found another case to keep her busy.
