I have not known anyone who has had surgery on their hands whose hand wasn't worse when the surgery was over than when it started. How much motion are you lacking? It is a lot, a little? Seriously, if it could be worse, then I might consider therapy, but not surgery. Did the bone not grow back together ok? Can they tell more from the xray than they are telling you?
