Quick Update

Sorry folks, seems like everytime I want to get in here and get some work done, and do a few personal updates, my internet is acting up, or the website is being difficult…so it’s been so much longer than I had wanted…I know that a few weeks ago I had wanted to post an entry that I had done over at my Homeschool Kansas blog, but when I came over here, the site was down…*sigh* In any case, on with the news, or at least a bit of it, as I have a few more entries to do over at my Orchid’s Blog.

School is going well for the girls, it is so much easier when I am able to stay home with them all the time. I can keep them on track so much better, and spend the time listening to them read that they need, and well the list goes on and on.

My transcriptioning course is going well, at least on my end. The college is redesigning their grading system, in order for us to be able to get our grades back quicker, but while they are still in the transitioning stages, the grades are coming slower, which has upset and frustrated me. I was doing so well at cruising through this course, my dreams within my reach, just to be yanked back by slow grading. In any case, onward I go, as quickly as the grading allows.

The saddest, most upsetting part is that I will have to find another job outside the home, and go back to work. I plan to start my job hunt Monday. I have waited as long as I can, but in order to stay current with my bills, I see no other choice but to go back to work somewhere. I have my girls to take care of, no matter how much it depresses me, and upsets me that I have to go back to work.

Well anyway, pray that I find the right job, or that I magically win the lottery or something…*LOL*…*HUGS* to you all, and please keep me in your prayers.

Las Vegas Resumes

Facing the fact that I will have to be finding a job, outside the home, has been difficult, depressing, and well, we won’t dwell on such things. In this experience I guess we will call it, I did finally make up a resume, basically so perhaps I’d look a bit more professional as well as saving me from having to fill out a bunch of applications. I can’t see where it much matters if it’s Las Vegas resumes, or one for some other town…they are all pretty much the same as far as I’m concerned.

It seems to me that every one has do-dads to give away today. Magnets,promotional pens, calenders, and who knows what else. My insurance company has even given away fly swatters…I mean really, I can understand about wanting to advertise your business, but can’t we come up with something better than cheap fly swatters?? Although I have to admit that fly swatters were a unique item.

New Credit Card Blog

This was a crazy!! Who ever heard of a new credit card blog?? But this was her brainstorm. It had hit her at 3:30am this morning, and just would let go, until she got out of bed and started planning and creating the site. She had it almost done. It had taken her less than 24 hours from start to finish, and she was thrilled with the results!!
