I seem to be having several of the “what are” posts tonight. I guess it’s because I just don’t understand terminology these days. What is body jewelry?? Are we talking earrings, nose rings, and belly button rings?? Or is body jewelry necklaces, bracelets, rings, and that type stuff?? Why can’t people just say what they mean, instead of putting fancy words into play??
When I was a kid, flip flops were called thongs, manure rakes were pitch forks, and capri pants were knicker bockers….Why do the names of things have to change?? I guess for fashion sake. I mean who would want to admitt that they are just crazy over a style that went “out” decades ago.

Care to tell me what a condo hotel is?? I’ve always had the impression that condos are basically apartments, although I would say bigger than most run of the mill apartments. And I know what hotels are….but what is a condo hotel?? A bunch of large apartments that you can rent for a few days or weeks?? But why not just get a hotel suite?? Is not a hotel suite an apartment, with all the comforts of home??

I often wonder what the point of a locked cell phone is. To me, it’s like you are trying to hide something from someone. A number or a name of a person that you know that it’s wrong to have. And if you lock it, for the reason of children playing with your phone, well, I don’t think phones are toys, and children have no business playing with the phone, and should be taught better. Though at times I realize that even after the best teaching, children sometimes do things that they know they shouldn’t. But still, I think unlocked cell phones are the way it should be.

Sitting down at the computer, to continue her work, she opened up the file CAT5e, and set to work. Hours later she roused herself from her work and went into the kitchen to make herself dinner. She loved working from her home…didn’t know if she could survive the working world beyond her home. All the pressures, and coworker drama, and having bosses hanging over her shoulder…Nope, she much preferred the quite tranquillity of her home office.
