Well all, I finished what I had to do today….Now I’m off to other things…pop into my email and check that out, and than it’s probably time to balance my check book. Then it will be dishes or laundry I suppose, while the kids play outside for a bit. They just finished part of their schoolwork that I have scheduled for today, so it’s time for a bit of a break before they hit the books again….We are trying to do 2 days worth of work today, because tomorrow it is unlikely that we will get any done.

Hope you all have a good week, and I will try to get in here again later on in the week.

*HUGS* to all my friends.

As much as I would like to visit Branson Missouri, I have no desire to live there. You can find lots of Branson real estate on the market, but for me, it holds no interest. I am a country girl at heart, and throughly dislike cities, especially driving in big cities.

It’s not that I am a bad driver, in fact I consider myself a very good driver, but I get claustrophobic and I worry about other drivers dashing in front of me, or changing lanes without seeing that I am in the way…so I avoid city driving as much as possible.

I have another busy week ahead of me. Classes to do at work, wheelchair lift training on Wednesday, Dentist appointments for the girls tomorrow, schoolwork for the girls, along with all the regular house cleaning and bill paying that needs done.

As it stands now I have a mountain of dishes to get done, some laundry to get folded and put away, vacuuming to get done, computer work (which is almost finished for the moment), and schoolwork with the girls (which we are working on right now.

Her father’s new Breguet watch was tucked safely in her pocket. A sure hit on Father’s Day she was sure. She would need that “sure hit” after she told him what she was planning for her life.

Up to this point she had quietly followed in the footsteps of her father, becoming a very sucessful lawyer at a very young age. But her appeal for the law had dimmed with all the politics involved.

It never seems to fail, whenever I have plans to stay home, something always happens to mess that up. Because of my car problems, I spent the weekend camped out at my sister’s house. All in all it was a lot of fun, but still messed up my plans to spend most of the weekend at home.

Anyway, she needed her car, and I needed transportation as well, so there really was no other option. The kids had fun playing together, and us adults had lots of fun chatting as well…

It wasn’t often that she could put a book down without another thought. One of her favorite hobbies, that tended to take up more of her time than was probably wise, was reading. However, when she had been sent this new book, A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose, which happened to be one of the newest selections from Oprah’s book club, she had found no interest in the book. Even after struggling through the first chapter, she still had no desire to finish reading it.

I have more car problems than just about anyone I know, and it’s quite annoying, because I try my best to take car of my car. In any case, Thursday I was running errands around town, and discovered that I had almost no brakes. So I took it down to a shop, who said they could look at it the following day. I had my sister come into town and pick me up, so I could take her back out to her place, and bring her car home. Friday came, the morning passed, and I called the shop to discover they had looked at my car that morning, and never called me. They did not have the capabilities to fix my car. So I had to go down and move the car over to the dealership, only to discover they wouldn’t be able to do anything with my car until early this week.

I never thought I would get so involved in the electronics craze of this day and age. But I find myself with a digital camera, a home computer, a printer, tv, dvd, vcr, a cell phone, and I will soon be getting a new laptop. I am actually pretty excited about getting this laptop, as I’m getting it FREE with my medical transcriptionist course. It will make it nice and easy to work on my course no matter where I am.

Well here I am again, at the close of another weekend. *sigh* So much going on lately, it’s been really hard to get on here and do anything more than check my email, and read a few of my favorite blogs….*LOL*…Yes, many times I would rather read my favorites than do posts of my own…It’s my way of staying connected to my friends. Although they probably think I have dropped of the edge of the planet, because I haven’t been commenting much lately.

My job is going well…About a year ago they had all of us take an online college class on Direct Support Professionalism. This last week they sent out an email saying that their were 3 different classes that we could take if we wanted…I signed up to do all three. Can’t remember what they were titled, but they are relate to our job, of course, and I will be able to work on these classes while I’m at work.

Another new developement is the fact that this week I start an online college class (on my own time) for medical transcriptioning. I am very excited about this!!! The class, depending on how much time I can devote to it, will take about a year to complete. After that, the college helps me prepare my resume, and sends it out to a bunch of different Dr.’s for me. Most, about 95% if I remember correctly, medical transcriptionists work from home, which is the main reason I am taking this class!!! It will be a dream come true to be able to stay at home!!! In any case, with many prayers, and lots of long hours, I can see the end of the rainbow!! It has made the girls and I so happy to be thinking about the very real possibility of me being home all the time!!

Boy, my life just keeps getting busier and busier doesn’t it?? Take my previous life, and add in part time college classes while I’m at work, which really means that I’m not spending any “extra” time doing them, but it sounds cool…Plus this medical transcriptioning course I’m doing, which they classify me a full time student…I’m busy as a bee in spring!! *LOL*

The girls are doing well! I am so proud of how they have been helping me around the house, and behaving (for the most part)!! I don’t think if you knew them a year ago, that you would recognize them as the same girls (behavior wise) today!! School is going well too….

The girls got their new glasses this past Monday. *scowls* Did I even blog about that?? Well, anyway, we went up acouple of weeks ago to get eye exams, and I knew that Des was getting new glasses, but discovered that Meg also needed glasses. I am disappointed that she had to get glasses, I was hoping that she wouldn’t have to “deal” with having bad eyes like Des or I, but such is life I suppose. I have tried my best to keep their eyes healthy and in good condition, but sometimes there’s no getting away from genes.

They both have a dentist appointment coming up in acouple of weeks as well….Just a checkup and a cleaning. I am really hoping that all will be well otherwise, but if they need work, than we will get it taken care of. I have also really been doing a lot of educating on the importance of taking care of their teeth lately, because they have hit this “stage” of not wanting to brush their teeth. I think it is sinking in though, with me reminding them how important it is, and with them studying about it in their Health book.

I’m going to start the week out with a fairly clean house to boot!!! I’m thrilled!!! I did some picking up, rearranging, and vacuuming tonight. About the only thing not done is the dishes, and we can’t really do those until later this week. The light in my kitchen quit working, and the landlord hasn’t gotten anybody over to fix it yet, which I only told him about it on Friday. It had broken acouple of days before that, but I hadn’t had time to be home, so someone could come and fix it. We also have just a bit of laundry to fold and put away too, but that’s it!!

Well, it’s almost 6am, so I think I’m going to get off of here…I hope all is well with everyone!! Thank you for being such great friends, and for commenting on the girls’ blogs as well!! They just love getting comments!! Guess that runs in the family..*LOL*

*HUGS* and Blessings my friends!!!!

Branson has so many things to offer! Not only for country music fans like myself, but other things as well. There are just so many great things to do and see in Branson, like Silver Dollar City, Branson Landing, The Titanic, and Welk Resort.

They also have some really great shows, like Hamner Barber Variety Show, the 12 Irish Tenors (would SOOOO love to see that show!!), the Acrobats of China, Circle B Chuckwagon & Cowboy Music Show, Smoke on the Mountain (which is said to be a Hilarious Gospel Comedy Musical!!), and lets not forget a touch of Broadway as well!!

I would LOVE to go to Branson someday!! I’m an avid country music fan, but as I have pointed out in this post, there is sooooo much more to Branson than just country music!!! There are some great vacation package available as well, so make sure you go check out the link above!!
