Can’t Hide Forever
*sigh* As much as I would like, I can’t hide forever…Wanted to talk last night, and yet didn’t want to. One of those odd moments….Usually I’m one way or the other, not the confusing mix of emotions that I was and still am…
I still feel torn apart….still wonder why God seems so far from me, no matter how much I pray or try to get close, He still seems so far away, and deaf to my pleadings. It’s a sad state of affairs, and yet life goes on….
Isn’t that always the way….no matter our wants, or desires, life goes on….*sigh* sometimes I wish it wasn’t so….wish life could pause for a bit.

The fact is Vicki, that you can’t hide at all. There is always someone watching you and seeing where you go – what you do. Adam and Eve tried to hide and God knew exactly were they were. I’ll be praying for you.
RYC: We just got a new camera (finally had enough money) so the pictures turned out really nice. They didn’t do justice to the moon declaring glory, but they were ok. (Psalm 19).
I think I may have wanted to stay inside and work rather then freeze. Lol.

Dear Vicki,
I stumbled across your blog the other day and I can’t help but adding a comment. I’d like to say that sometimes I feel the same way. Like God couldn’t be farther across the universe or higher in the heavens. But every time I feel like this I go to this verse, and it helps me. It’s Hebrews 13: 5b- 6 “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we can confidently say,“The Lord is my helper;I will not fear;what can man do to me?” It reminds me that no matter how far away God feels He is always there. And that’s what having faith is all about. You can’t hide from God either, God holds the entire universe in His hands. I mean, obviously that makes us pretty small. But God can always see you, and He always will. You don’t ever have to doubt that, God cares and He is listening. I hope that might help.

I am sorry that you have been feeling this way and that I have not been online to talk to you! I know the Lord is working so many things out in your life right now for His glory, and it isn’t AT ALL like Adam and Eve. They were hiding from God because of their sin. I know you are searching for God. Eric is wrong; it is NOT the same thing. Please do not despair.
Paul was in despair at moments of desperation. David wrote many of the Psalms from the pits of despair. It is a normal human emotion, and we must continue to call out to God and rely on Him, even when He is silent. Trust Him. Period. It is not about hearing Him; it is about trusting Him. Rejoice in this time, my friend!! God is teaching you in His silence!! He is teaching you to wait and to continue to trust!
Jesus, Our Saviour, was in despair before He went to the cross in the Garden, and then remember, he was the Son of God, and God turned His head, and Jesus cried out in despair. Jesus *knows* how you are feeling right now. Whether you have a friend to talk to or no one, you must run to Jesus, knowing full well that He knows your struggles nad your sorrows!!! What a blessed thing Jesus did for us!
Rest in that, dear. He has you in the palm of His hand, even when you feel you are at the bottom of the pits!
I love you, Vicki!! I am lifting you up to the Lord right now, and I know He will keep you in your heart and mind. Let Him!
