Miscellaneous is a word that fits my life perfectly. I feel that I have a miscellaneously filled life, with the girls, the home, work, my animals, my family, my hobbies…All this miscellaneous stuff is what my life is….I am glad to have a life filled with a bit of this, and a bit of that, as I know I would be bored if I had a structured life, with only a few things going on……There are times that I wish that I had less to do, but really it’s a matter of really wishing for more time, in order to accomplish all that it is that I want to do.

Working for a subtitle service was not exciting, nor was it exactly fulfilling, but it enabled her to stay at home, where her heart desired to be! She had always desired to be at home, her home was her delight! She found comfort in cleaning and cooking! When doing those things, the stress of the world around her seemed to melt away. Someday, she would have children to fill her house, and than her life would be complete!

Well, I’m late as usual, but here’s my post for Saturday Psalm and Praise.
I’d Rather Have Jesus
************************************************
I’d rather have Jesus
Than silver and gold
I’d rather be His than have riches untold
I’d rather have Jesus
Than houses or lands
I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand
Than to be a king of a vast domain
Or be held in sin’s dread sway
I’d rather have Jesus
Than anything this world affords today
He’s fairer than lilies
Of rarest bloom
He’s sweeter than honey
From out the comb
He’s all that my hungering spirit needs
I’d rather have Jesus
And let Him lead
Than to be a king of a vast domain
Or be held in sin’s dread sway
I’d rather have Jesus
Than anything this world affords today

One of the great things I can say about my Mom is the fact that she taught me how to comparison shop!! Not only can I go to the grocery store, or clothes shopping, and compare items, and find the best deal, but I can also shop for things like life insurance, and compare which would be the best company to do business with. It’s also handy when you can get life insurance quotes, to help you with your comparisons!

I have been sick for 3 or 4 days now…Nothing serious really, but I did go ahead and go to the Dr. today…Cost me $30 for the meds, which I guess is better than it could have been, and as long as it helps, I guess that’s all that matters….I called off work last night, and probably will again tonight…….I am really tired, and feeling pretty aweful!!
The girls both have a cold, which makes me feel worse!! They are always a bit more whiny when they are sick, and with me being sick, I am short on patience. Plus, they probably wouldn’t be sick, if I hadn’t brought the germs home from work!!
Anyway, with any luck, we are all on the road to recovery!!

I never had any maternity clothing when I was pregnant. I also had t-shirts that were big enough to allow for my growing tummy, and I had shorts with an elastic band, so I didn’t have to worry about that…In the cooler weather, my jeans still fit, if I didn’t button them…I never got really big, which in reality was a good thing, as I didn’t have money to be buying a new wardrobe. I was having difficulty enough buying the things I would need for the baby.
After Meg was born, I decided that I didn’t want any more children, that I would have my hands full enough with the two girls, but now, I yearn to have more children. I pray that God will bless me with a chance to have more!!

Well, for those that have been following the story of Chubby. I had to have him put down on Monday. There was a point that I thought he was getting better, but than he started having trouble breathing, so I took him back into the Vet, and the Vet said that he was suffering, and so that made my decision….I can’t stand to see an animal suffering!!!
My beautiful siemese colored cat, who was so patient and loving has gone to be with the Lord.

I have worked in several different Assisted Living facilities, including Nursing Homes, Alz. Units, and even where I work now is assisted living. I have never been more than a worker in these places, no management positions for me, but I have enjoyed these jobs. They can be difficult, and very stressful, but than, much of life is that way as well.
I came across a website for assisted living software, and I thought it would be interesting to go check it out…Basically it’s to help reduce the amount of paperwork you have to keep track of…dealing with assessments and such things, but still, it was interesting…

Well things were warming up around here a bit, last week anyway, with temps in the mid to high 40’s…But that all came to a halt yesturday, when the north winds were rather fridged, this morning it was snowing again too. I am so tired of cold weather, and being stuck inside. Having to worry about icy and slick roads……
I am more than ready for the scents of Spring….Warmer weather, the trees budding new life…green grass showing itself (although I’m not looking forward to the mowing season!!)…..It’s a renewing of the land, and in some sense, I think a renewing of myself.

I’ve had a lot of things on my wish list..and it seems that the list just keeps getting longer. One of those things would be a new computer…with a flat screen, and a computer memory upgrade…Of course an all in 1 printer/scanner would be nice as well, and a digital camera, and well the list goes on and on….
I’m hoping I get a decent tax return, so that I can take care of a few things…I would like to get my female cat spayed, so I don’t have kittens coming out my ears!! I need a battery for my car, and Lord knows what else…
