Update On Chubby

January 17th, 2008 -- Posted in Family News | 1 Comment »

Well, I’ve told you that I’ve had a sick cat, and I’m pretty sure I put in an entry last week, or maybe it was early this week, saying that I had taken him to the Vet, and that Dr. had given us some antibiotics, and that Chubby is have a liver problem…

Well anyway, he didn’t appear to be doing much better, so yesterday I called the Vet, to see what he thought. He wants me to finish out the antibiotics that I have, and than we are going to try a pill of some sort..

Yesterday morning I went to the store to get him (Chubby) some canned cat food, and spent a good portion of yesterday following him around offering him the food, and some water. I had noticed that he had not been eating or drinking much at all, so I thought maybe some canned (instead of dry) catfood would help, and it seems to have worked….at least a little. He ate about half a can yesterday, the small cans that is…and this morning when I offered him some after getting home from work, he ate some, and than came out and wanted up (we have it put up on a table so the dog won’t get it) to his dry food…he only ate a piece or two of the dry food, but at least he is interested in it!!! Also drank some water this morning, and was purring up a storm…

I take those as good signs, even though he’s still not looking well. I continue to pray, and baby him along.

Volcom Clothing

She was on her computer, looking at the volcom clothing website, when her phone rang.

She absently reached over and picked it up, with an offhand “hello”…She was brought to sudden attention when she heard her Father’s voice on the phone. She listen to what he said, and than hung up with a quiet “bye. Love you.”…

She sat staring at her computer, without seeing it, lost in thought. Her Father’s news hadn’t been bad really, just kind of shocking….Her sister was home, and wanted to see her.

She and her sister hadn’t seen each other in about 3 years, and had spoken on the phone only once during that time. The once inseperable sister had had a falling out 3 years ago..and each had gone their seperate ways.

Multi Tasking

Today I am multi tasking…well okay, I do that just about every day…Today I am doing a mass cleaning on my house, babying a sick cat, and doing some blogging and a few other computer things.

It is only 9am here, and I have gotten laundry going, part of the dishes done (I had quite a mountain of them), and the kitchen picked up so I can vacuum. That along with checking email, 2 blog entries, and as I said, babying one of my cats.

A rather productive morning if I do say so myself, and the day is still early…Want to finish the dishes, get all of the laundry washed and dried, and pick up and vacuum the livingroom and my bedroom. We’ll see how it goes though.

Fibromyalgia

January 17th, 2008 -- Posted in Piggy Bank | No Comments »

You here alot more about things like fibromyalgia, and diabetes these days. These were things that were virtually unknown, not that long ago, but now they seem to be at the forefront of medicine these days….

An increasing number of people are diagnoised with Diabetes, which I find unsettling, and sad. Some contribute it to the poor diets, and lack of exercise in this generation, and the up and coming generations, which I’m sure does play a part in it! Now I can see how poor diets are rather easy to come by, but what is so difficult about turning off the tv or game systems to go take a walk, or play outside?
