Not Sure

January 6th, 2008 -- Posted in Family News | No Comments »

Not sure what to write about tonight…It’s been a pretty quiet day here. I worked overtime last night, so that has kind of thrown my schedule off. It seems like it’s Monday, instead of Sunday, and I didn’t get nearly enough done around the house this “weekend”.

I knew it wouldn’t be long until the girls were asking to do schoolwork again. Although I have to admitt, I thought they would be asking at least a week ago, the just started this past week. They almost always moan and groan when I say it’s time to do school, however, many of our off days (weekends, or vacations) they are asking me to do schoolwork. It pleases my heart to know that they love learning enough to give up their playtime to do it!!

I need to take King to the Vet tomorrow…He messed up one of his back legs this past week…He’s had problems with his back legs for the last couple of years, because of torn ligaments and such. He even had surgery on one of them, but not the one that is messed up this time. I can’t even say what he did to it this time, I just started noticing him not walking on it…At first I thought it would pass, as many of his leg ailments do within a few days, but it’s been a week now, and he’s still not using it at all….

Anyway, I guess that’s enough for now.

Used Cisco

January 6th, 2008 -- Posted in Piggy Bank | No Comments »

Having her Dad move in with her had been better, in her mind, to the alternative of putting him in a “retirement” home, as her brother had suggested, but having him home was also difficult.

There had been the dilema of the adjustable bed, and now it was a used cisco. Where in the world was she going to find a cisco. She laughed to herself for a moment, for that matter, why did her father insist on a cisco in the first place??

Life went on, she supposed…she would find the cisco, and would do everything else she could to make her Dad happy living with her, difficulties and all.
