More than Rubies-General

- Give some general info about your family: # of kids and ages (if you feel comfortable giving that info out), I have two girls, ages 8 and 6.

# of years as a SAHM, I’m not a SAHM currently, but I’m believing God to be able to stay home with my girls.

does your husband work at home or outside the home? No husband, no prospects..I’m a single Mom.

- Do you work in or outside of the home? If so, how many hours per week and what is your schedule like? I work at least 40 hours outside the home…I work overnights..I also have a computer job at home.

- What helps you get through your week? Do you use a planner or “to-do” list? Are you organized or do you fly by the seat of your pants? *LOL* Well I always have a “to do ” list, but it rarely gets “to done”..*LOL*

- Do your children help around the house? chores? cooking? If they don’t do much, do you wish they did more? The girls do help around the house a little, and we are slowly increasing their responsibilities, but I so wish they did help out more!! Willingly that is!!

- What do you want to do better? There are so many things that I would like to do better, but I think the main thing is to be a better mother. Not that I’m not a good mother now, but I know there is room for improvement!

What area of your life is a stumbling block for you? Sometimes it feels as if my whole life is a stumbling block…I would have to say that lack of patience is the biggest problem I see myself having…

Would you like prayer for a specific thing this week? For God to provide a way for me to be able to stay home with my girls fulltime!!

Mizuno Golf

Not being a golf fan, I don’t know much about it, including what Mizuno golf is….Golf to me is hitting a ball around a pasture that’s filled with holes…I don’t much see the sense in putting holes in a perfectly good pasture! My Dad calls it “cow pasture pool”..*LOL* I don’t know, I just don’t see the sense in it, but than I guess if you really think about it, you have to wonder what the point of football, baseball, or a whole lot of other sports are too.

Internet Problems

Internet isn’t working real well tonight, so I don’t know how long I will be here…This is the third time that I have tried to do an entry…and as much as I would like to get some work done, I’m not going to sit here and fight it, if it gives me too many problems!! Life is too short, too busy to fight for very long with a computer, there are so many other things I could be doing, and would be a lot more productive than wasting time fighting bad internet!!

Car Angel

I’m sure many of you have heard of Car Angel. They are a non-profit company that uses car and other donations to make videos for kids and teens. It’s so awesome, because they have given away over 2.4 million videos. You can check out the video HERE…

This is a great way to get rid of that car that you have just sitting around, and you can help a lot of great people with your car donations!!
