Bible Update

I am happy to say that I finished Proverbs AND Ecclesiastes!!! I am so excited that I am doing so well!! In the past when I’ve read my Bible, I usually stop reading for months at a time, and than pick it up again…this time however, I can’t say that I’ve read it every day, but I am happy to say that I have read it most days!!

It’s a big accomplishment for me, and it has done a lot to strengthen my relationship with my Father, my God.

Prom Dresses

I know that you might think that it’s a little early to be talking about prom dresses, but really prom isn’t that far away, for those that have prom that is.

I was homeschooled during that time, so I didn’t have a prom to go to….Do I regret it?? Well, the idea of having a beautiful dress, and dancing the night away, does have it’s appeal, but than I also avoided the heartbreak of not being asked by that special guy…

In any case, this company has a full line of prom dresses in many styles and colors, they also have a full line of prom accessories. Their prom dresses come in plus sizes as well.

A Little

Well the girls and I got a little cleaning done, for the first time in a week…*LOL* Yes, I wonder how my house survives that long without cleaning as well, but when it’s a matter of spending time cleaning, or doing stuff with the girls or sleeping for a few precious hours, the house usually waits…

Last week, from Sunday afternoon through Friday evening, I got about 16 hours sleep!! Yes, I know, it’s crazy, and no, I don’t know how I do it!! *LOL* I have heard all those comments/questions before…I do it because I feel that’s what is right.

This week will be better, I hope!! Sleep wise, and cleaning wise!!!

It’s just beautiful what you can have done, and I especially like the fact that the paintings are done by hand!! And that you can do several photos in one painting!!! I’m just thrilled to find this site!!

Cheetah Girls

I love those movies!! Yes, if you hadn’t figured it out yet, I am a movies fanatic in some ways!

Anyway, the first Cheetah Girls was good, but the second one is magnificent!! I love the music, I love the plot…it’s just wonderful!! The music is by far the best part though, the girls think so too!!!

The movies have some good morals too, like not to judge people, and not to be too controlling/everything can’t be your way all the time…They’re great!!!

My Desert

My Desert.com is a news website for the Palm Desert area. It is absolutely filled to the brim with different features…The first and probably most helpful is the “search” tab. But they also have news, local news, business, sports, things to do, and a buy/sell/trade and many other categories!!

It seems to be a decent website…pretty easily layed out, and easy to use. Customer service is easily accessable as well!

For anyone in the California area, specifically Palm Desert, this is a great resource! I have never lived in Palm Desert, but I did live in California for several years of my childhood…I have some great memories from those times!!

Will I Ever??

*sigh* I wonder if I will ever be able to just go to work and come home again, for one week…I don’t know what the difference is, but here in the last couple of weeks, it seems like non-stop running, and never time for anything!!!

Last week was especially busy, and I figured this week would be a slow week, but it’s not really starting out that way!! I hope for quieter times, more peaceful moments instead of so much running!!
