Free Willy

At Walmart today I went by the movies and music section, just looking, and discovered the 3 Free Willy movies, all in one set, for $14…Couldn’t pass that up, as those are wonderful movies, that I know the girls will enjoy as much as I do!

I love this new trend of putting more than one movies in a package…Here not too long ago I bought the “Sister Act” movies, which were also in one pack…Now this one, and I’ve seen several other combo packs…I’m just thrilled!!

Decorating

Today, my Dad and sister brought over their old tree for the girls and I to use this year, since they got a new one…So I went to put it together, and found out that one of the legs for the stand was missing, so after a quick call to my sister, the girls and I decided to head to Walmart to get a new tree that my Dad is buying for us…*Thank you soooooo much Dad!!*

Well, we finally got the tree we wanted, and headed home…My house now sports a beautiful tree, and some other lights and decorations setting around…Bubble said she had some more stuff to give us, and some that we can borrow, which is great…The only complaint I have is that my house has virtually NO outlets, so it makes it very difficult to decorate with lights!!!

Rocky Point Condos

Yep, I’m dreaming of vacations again….Rocky Point condo rentals have a fully equipped kitchens and Satellite TV, not that I would watch tv much, when all of the luxery homes, and condos have beach front views of the Sea of Cortez!!

Doesn’t that just sound dreamy?? I think so!!

They have a nice looking website, that is easy to navigate. They have things listed like weather, and a tide calander, as well as different services like scuba rentals, and massages…They also have a very extensive FAQ section! Pretty nifty huh?

Horrible Product!!!!

Last year, long about Christmas time I bought the girls a “begin to needlepoint” kit…It had the needle, yarn, plastic canvas all included. It was a picture of a butterfly.

In any case, the first “beef” that I have with the kit is the needle they sent….The needle would NOT go back through your stitches on the back, to tie off your yarn!!! Yes, I realize they were trying to make it child safe, but the metal plastic canvas needles accomplish the same thing, which is to keep your child from poking themselves…

The most horrible part of the whole kit is the fact that there no directions, so I attempted to follow the picture on the box, and well, that didn’t work either, because the picture is apparently a different size canvas than what they sent in the box. Oh, and the canvas is painted, supposedly stitch by stitch, but that’s a laugh!!……I modified Des’s picture so much, in an attempt to make it work, but to no avail…Oh, I’m sure that if I sat down and stitched it, I could come up with a decent looking butterfly, but that’s not the point!!!

This is a kit that is supposed to TEACH someone the basics….It is called “begin to needlepoint” by QuinCrafts…I doubt I will ever buy from this company again, because of this incident!!!

Real Estate

Someday I will be looking at real estate. I will have a place of my own, that I own, out in the country, so I can have more animals like horses!! This land will have a nice (not fancy) but nice house on it…with counters and cubboards galore!! I think I would like to have 4 bedrooms…One for me, and one for each of the girls, and the 4th would be out schoolroom/craft room. Of course it wouldn’t have to be a bedroom exactly, it could be a parlor, or some other kind of “extra” room within the house…

I love walking!! I would walk just about anywhere if I could!! Thankfully the girls like walking too, so when the weather is nice, that’s what we do a lot!!

I love walking in the rain especially! It’s cool and soothing to me…The rain holds a peace in it, that comes to me, when I’m walking out in it. Drops of God’s love, is the way I think about it!!

Walking in the snow, it has a magical presence in it…Everything is so peaceful and pristine…When I think of walking in the snow, I think of God washing all my sins away…leaving me with a clean and pristine life to build on.

Clothing 4 All

I recieved this great t-shirt the other day, FREE, from www.clothing4all.com. The picture below, is a picture of my shirt.

Clothing4All sells wholesale to the public. You get 10 to 40% off normal catelog prices, or at least that’s what the catalog and website says. One of the best things about this company, in my opinion, is that they have some hard to find sizes on some of their stuff…Like 2 or 3X shirts…There was even one that I saw that was 6X size.

They have a HUGE catelog, filled with all kinds of great short sleeve, and long sleeve shirts, including mock turtlenecks. They also have hooded sweatshirts, jackets, shorts, and other things like duffle bags and tote bags, blankets, and towels. They also carry many different brands like Sport-Tek, Port Authority, and District Threads.
