Have any of you noticed that they don’t make Iron On Tape like they used to?? I remember when I was a child, that my Mom would patch my jeans, or some other beloved article of clothing with iron on tape, and that would be it, until the clothing was too covered with iron on tape to put any more on…
Nowadays, well, you iron it on, and than if you are lucky, you can wash it two times, before you are having to put something different on….Although my sister and I have started sewing around the iron on tape, after we iron it, to ensure that it stays a bit longer!!
I’ve spoken about St. Augustine and their amazing events before, and I’m here again, to talk about some other great things that they have going on, like the First Friday Weekend Art Walk..
Oh, it sounds so wonderful!!! It’s all about music and art in one of America’s oldest cities. It’s held on the first Weekend of every month. I can’t say for sure, never having been able to go, but I would imagine that their are parts that are different every time, so you could keep going back every month to find something new of interest!!
Not only is it about the art galleries of St. Augustine sponsoring FREE, self guided monthly Artwalks, featuring the finest collection of eclectic art in North Florida, but you also get Free parking and free Sightseeing Train and Trolley tours.. It leaves you to explore whatever type of art tickles you fancy: from painting to photography, architecture, music and more.
Doesn’t it sound wonderful?? It does to me!!! Not only as a homeschooling mother, but on a personal level as well! I think the St. Augustine Artwalk would be a wonderful thing to experience, and I can’t deny that it would be a wonderful thing to take part in with the girls. I’m sure that we could count it as one very awesome field trip!!!
My massive headache only seems to get worse, and I have so much that I should do today….
I need to vacuum my kitchen, and the laundry room. I borrowed Bubble’s steam cleaner so that I could do my laundryroom, so I need to get that done, and back to her…
Dinner needs fixed, although I have not a clue what I will make.
Computer work needs done, as well as some sewing projects that need taken care of. Oh and lets not forget laundry!!! That neverending laundry that piles to the sky ever so quickly!!!

Dealing with a really bad headache this morning. Don’t know why, have felt pretty good all day, but now have the headache.
Getting a bit of snow this morning..I imagine it will be gone not too long after daylight.
Oh and if you hadn’t guessed, yesturday, Friday, when I got home from work, I went to bed, and that is why I’m still up at 5 am this morning…Got up at about 3pm, and well, haven’t been able to sleep.

I REALLY need some bookshelves!! Today in the midst of cleaning, and reorganizing, I was trying to find places to put all of my, and the girls’ books…I was unsuccessful in some cases….My special books, I don’t want thrown in a box like my other books are right now…The girls’ books have outgrown the box that I had them in, so I am left wondering what to do!!!
