Psalm 116
Psalm 116:1, 2, 5, 6, 7
1:I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications.
2:Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
5: Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; Yes our God is merciful.
6: The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
7: Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.

I read this last night in my Bible time…I liked it…I can’t say that it brought peace to my heart last night, but than last night was a rough night for me. I do find them to be beautiful words….Hopefully the Lord will deal bountifully with me, and provide a way for me to stay home all the time!!

God is so faithful to us. No matter what time of the day or night, he gives us His Word to admonish, edify and bring peace to our sinful, hurried lives.
If we wait upon Him and sit in the quiet, we may not feel a peace, but we will know in our spirits that He is there, and we have no need of worry.
I think peace is a process. I think everything is a process, a becoming. We know more than we did ten years ago, and can look back at silly choices and know we would never do that now. But, what about ten years from now? What will we look back on? What will we know better then that we are doing now?
God holds all this and more in the Palm of His Hand. We are truly well-taken care of, whether we see it or not.
Love you Vicki… keep growing in Him. He *is* changing all of us, and He is there to help you up when you stumble or feel alone.
