Lighting

Lighting is an important thing in any home, I think. But than I love doing a whole lot of stuff that requires good lighting…Like puzzles, arts and crafts, reading, and things like that. The lighting isn’t great in the house where I live, but it is a lot better than some other places I’ve been, so I guess I can’t complain too much. The kitchen lighting, where I do my puzzles, isn’t too bad, but it could be better I think.

I’m a fan of fluorescent lighting, because it is so much brighter…but you can get some really pretty fluorescent fixtures nowadays, so your home can still have the brightness of fluorescents, but be stylish as well.

Issues

Well as many, or all of you know, I recently got acouple of new babysitters….They are doing a great job, but I’ve found some issues that concern me….

One morning I went home, and I saw a glue stick laying in the floor…Well, both of my girls know they are not supposed to use glue of any kind, without my permission….I asked them about it, and they said Hannah said it was okay….I replied with something like this…”Well, that’s all fine and dandy, except Hannah is NOT your mother, and you know that you aren’t supposed to be into the glue..”

There have been other things a long those same lines…PLUS, Megan especially, is constantly bugging all day long about when we are going to go pick up Hannah….*sigh*…Not only do I find the constant bugging rather annoying, but it also hurts my feelings that the girls don’t want to spend any time with me, they just want Hannah!! I know I shouldn’t let a silly thing like this bother me, I know my girls love me, but it still hurts…You know??

There is also another problem I have…Hannah has been washing the dishes every night this week. *LOL* Yes, this is the problem!! You see, house-cleaning was not part of our deal, I am not paying her to clean my house, but here she is doing my dishes….Yes, it is greatly appreciated, BUT if she is expecting extra money for it, I don’t have it to give!! I just don’t know if I should say something to her about it, or just let it go….

I don’t know, it’s kind of a mess!! At least in my mind!!

Tired

I am just exhausted, and I really don’t know why!!! Slept a good amount of time today, and yesturday too, so I should be set to go, but I’m not…

I am seriously thinking about putting a hold on school in the morning, and going straight to bed! Know it is not a good thing to do, but I am to the point of falling asleep at work, and that’s never good!!! If I got caught, I would be fired!!

Guess we’ll see what I feel like in the morning.
