Compucram has Series 7 Exams, as well as other tests to help you practice. How cool is that?? I love this age of technology where you can find, or do just about anything, all from the comfort of your own home!!
They guarantee that you will pass your test the first time!! I think it would be well worth taking a look at their site!!!

Homeschooling is an adventure every day!!
When we went to Walmart this past weekend, I’m walking down one of the main isles, headed for the other side of the store, when something catches my eye, and I stop…There on an end cap, in the middle of Housewares I think it was, are these lamenated things that look like placemats…They have one with all the states and capitals on it, one with the solar system, and one with all the presidents in the order they served and the dates they served….They were a whole 98 cents a piece!!! Nabbed those up quick I did!!!
Right now the girls are watching a movie we got from the library about the African animals, and that of course will count as school…Although I haven’t quite figured out if that will be Science, or Animal Studies, or what….And they got another one about Ballet….I also saw movies about different countries, different people (including Mozart), and of course historical ones about the old west, Native Americans and such….
I plan to speak to my local Vet, who just happens to be a really awesome guy, and a good Vet, and ask him if he will let me bring the girls in, and he can show them some of what he does, the tools he uses…etc….I have no doubts that he will do this, it is more a matter of what would be a good day for him to do it.
We also have a Russel Stover’s factory in a nearby town, that I would like to see if they would give us a tour…I think the kids would really enjoy that!!
So much at our fingertips, that we can share with our kids!!
If you will look in “My Favorite Links” you will also find some really good links that I have found!! One for math, that you can print off worksheets, or they can work right on the computer, worksheets, and games as well!! There is also this one that I found for handwriting that is really cool, because you can just type in what you want on the worksheet, and it will make the tracers and the starter dots (providing you know what I mean)…It can be letters, sentences, or even numbers!! All you have to do is print them….Very handy for me!!! Would be handier if I had my own printer, but than I guess that’s what they make sisters for!!! *LOL*

I love furniture, don’t you?? I really think that part of what makes a home relaxing, comforting, and comfortable is the furniture…How sad it is that I have almost no furniture myself!!
However, I still love looking at furniture, and saying “if I had the money, this is what I would get”…Online window shopping I guess you could call it. I found this great furniture store, that has really beautiful things!! The picture below, is a set of bookshelves that I would just LOVE to have, and LOVE to fill up!!! *LOL* They have loads of other things I like too!! Like a livingroom sectional that would just be so nice sitting here in my livingroom!! They also have other things for you livingroom, diningroom, bedroom, home office, and wherever else you can put furniture…All of their stuff is just beautiful!!!
