I like knowing that a place is open to my phone calls, and my questions!!

They have a very nicely laid out website, filled with information about their philosophy, their staff, their treatment programs, as well as a FAQ page, and lots of other good information.

I am thrilled with what I have read, and strongly encourage you to check them out!

I don’t remember a time that I ever had anything but a wooden bed, except for now….Of course our parents always had bunk-beds for my sister and I, because we never knew if we were going to have to share a bedroom at the new house…

No, my parents weren’t in the military, we just moved a lot….For many years we lived in California, in the same general area in California, but I remember living in at least 4 different houses, while we were there. Restless feet I guess…I have the same problem though…I can’t say that I like moving, but I am forever wishing to live somewhere else…

Anyway, back to the subject!!

I found a site that has some of the most beautiful beds I have seen!!!! They havePine Beds, oak beds, beech beds, mahogany beds, maple, ash, and well the list goes on and on!! They also have memory foam pillows, AND memory foam mattresses!!! I have a memory foam pillow, and I love it!!! I would LOVE to see what a mattress is like!!

They have beds for adults and children as well!! I love this site!!!

Saturday, we pretty much just hung out at the house…Bubble called late morning and asked if we could bring her and Dad something to drink out at the horse pasture, so we headed out there…Was there for about an hour I think…just watching them fool around with their 2 horses….

After that, we went to the grocery store, and than home we went…I made spaghetti for dinner….Than we went to the park…

Today, we didn’t do a whole lot either….Cleaned house a bit, and that was basically it…Oh, well, something else we have been doing all weekend is working on puzzles. The girls and I love doing puzzles!! We managed to get 3 puzzles done…2 of them were pretty small though, only 300 pieces…The one that we started tonight has 750 pieces….Big puzzles don’t bother me at all, I just pick them out for the picture on them…If they have good pictures, than I will get it, no matter how big it is!!….Suprisingly enough, the girls, especially Des is a great help on these puzzles…She takes after her Mama, except she likes to work on the inside first, instead of doing the border!!! *LOL*

Generally I’m not much of a jewelry person….I used to wear a ring all the time, but not anymore…about the only thing I wear is a necklace, and that’s only when I remember to put it on, and earrings. However, I still love looking, and sometimes buying jewelry!!

I found a wonderful site that has Silver Jewellery. Now I’m hoping that they purposely mis-spelled “jewellery” to match their site address, but I’m not sure….They have designed and made some of the jewelry themselves, they also sell other designers jewellery.

They have some very beautiful stuff, that I wouldn’t mind having…Very simple and elegant, from what I saw, but I have to admitt that I don’t seek out anything that wouldn’t be classified “simple”…just not my style. Beautiful, and worth checking out!!!

Didn’t really do a whole lot this weekend….Friday we hung out at the house, and than we walked the 6 or so blocks down to my favorite place to eat….Ran into my Dad and sister there…They were being snobbish (joke!!!), and didn’t want to change tables to eat with us, but did come over for a short visit when they were done….

After we were done, we started walking home, and it started raining….A while after we got home, the rain had stopped, so we decided to go to the park….Played there awhile, and than decided to go home….Was only home for a few minutes, when I asked the girls if they wanted to go for a walk, well of course they said “yes”…so off we went….ended up back at the park, after spending an extensive amount of time puddle jumping….*LOL* Girls were soaked head to foot!!! *LOL*….Finally went home and stayed….Put the girls in the shower, and went to bed shortly after that….We walked somewhere in the neighborhood of 38 blocks that night, and had a blast doing it!!!! *LOL*

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Christmas is fast approaching, and I don’t even have everything for Desi’s birthday yet!!! *holds head*…So not where I wanted to be at this time!!! A few months ago, I thought I would have all of Desi’s stuff bought, and have a good, a really good start on Christmas, but finances haven’t been going as smoothly as I had thought, so here I am, less than a month until Desi’s birthday, and still half the stuff to get….

I am trying to come up with some good christmas gift ideas this year, and also trying to get a thing or two for people that I’ve always wanted to get gifts for, but couldn’t afford to in past years…Like my Cousin Sonia….she is more like my sister, than my cousin, and I’ve always wanted to get her something, but never have….don’t know for sure if I will be able to this year or not…depends on how money plays out between now and then…

I’m not really in the mood for blogging tonight…which I have to say is rather odd for me…I usually love sharing my life so much, plus the work I do on here is a life saver to my finances….

I haven’t done any work all weekend, and I can’t say that I did any on Friday either…Wow, I am really slipping!! *LOL* I had a training on Friday morning, that lasted until noon, and than all I could think about was spending time with the kids…Didn’t even give a thought to any work on here…Saturday and Sunday…well, I simply wasn’t in the mood to be on the computer at all, so I took a bit of a break….But now the new work week has started, and so here I am, working both places, when I really don’t want to be….

Sad isn’t it, that I have such a bad attitude about work??….Hopefully I’ll find some enthusiasm soon, or it could be a VERY long week!!!

How many of you knew that I used to live in Las Vegas?? Well I did…for something like 4 years….In some ways I miss it, but not for what it is…I miss it, because my life seemed simpler then…Happier then, in some cases…In any case though…

I always did like walking on the Strip, as it’s called…Where the majority of the casinos are….I call them casinos, but really they are resorts….I like all the lights, and the fancy casinos…All the sights that they have to offer….Like the MGM, with there lions…the Mirage, with the white tigers, and many many others…I can’t say that I ever made it to the Rio Las Vegas, though….

I sooooooo do LOVE when people leave me notes!!! Helps me feel connected, and makes me feel like I have friends! Friends have always been sparse in my life, although the few that I do have, are wonderful, and I couldn’t ask for better friends!!!

I just really like hearing from people!! I like to hear your thoughts and your comments…especially when I’m having problems of one sort or another….So PLEASE leave me notes, if nothing more than to say “HI”, so that I know that you’ve been here….I love reading so many different blogs, of people that I consider friends, love reading about their life, and their children….again, it is something that makes me feel connected…
