June 12th, 2007 -- Posted in Family News | No Comments »Just a quick note this afternoon, while I wait for King to do his business outside. Rained pretty heavy this morning, so when I finally got done working, after almost 14 hours, I headed out to Bubble’s to pick up the kids, only to find that the road was flooded….After cruising around a bit on the back roads, and running into 4 more flooded areas, Bubble and I decided I might as well make my way home, and try again this evening.
I feel bad, not seeing and being with my kids today, but I have to work again tonight, and I’ve had zero sleep since I got up at 10am on Sunday morning….Wouldn’t make much sense to spend the 5 or 6 hours I have for sleep, trying to find my way out to Bubble’s….Hopefully the kids aren’t too upset with me!!!And hopefully it doesn’t rain too much more today, so that I might be able to go out tonight and see them for a bit, before work.
