Now, I have to admitt that I’m not sure I understand a lot about their business, but I did like what this, found in their “Company Info” page said. “Apogee Search delivers solutions across a number of markets. That’s why we provide all the tools and business expertise required to turn a company’s online efforts into strategic, revenue generators.” Now, if I had an online business I think this would be a company to look into further.

They offer Search Engine Marketing as well as an Online Marketing Blog Sounds like they could be a big boost to small companies out there, trying to get their name more well known. I mean, how many of us really know how to do Search Engine Marketing

Worst Day…..continued

Desiree has not been much better. While she is much more willing to pick up around the house….At the resturant tonight, she was acting like a 2 year old….The paper off the straw was shredded, than she started playing with her silverware….She wouldn’t keep her food over her plate, so ended up with half of it in her lap. She kept biting her straw, which has been an ongoing issue. She just kept drinking and drinking, without ever taking a breath, which I have issues with….She wouldn’t stay sitting…One time I sat her down, and than went to lean her forward over her plate, and she started resisting me, by pushing herself to the back of the chair…I simply pressed on a pressure point on her shoulder blade….she leaned forward alright, but than she started crying and throwing a fit, so it was off to the bathroom for a talk…..

Before dinner, we (all of us) went out to the horsepasture, to check on Dad’s, and Bubble’s horses…Desiree was told numerous times to not sit on the fence, by me and by Bubble, and she just completely ignored us!!

I told her earlier today that we were not going to the park, and again another one of her little crying fits ensued….

I am at the end of my rope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t know what I am doing wrong!!!!!!!

Worst Day

I know I said I was going to tell you Kelli’s story, but well, I might later…Right now I am in no mood!!

The kids have been beyond horrible today!!!!! Can’t even describe it really!! Megan pee’d her pants 3 or 4 times today…On top of ignoring everything she is told!! If I tell her she can’t play outside, she starts throwing a fit (earlier today), this evening they go out, and some kids up the street wanted the girls to come and play. I said no, because I don’t know those kids, and I don’t know the parents…Megan started throwing a fit. So I made her come inside, get ready for bed, and go to bed. Currently we are laying on the bed, yelling, screaming, asking to come out, and repeating over and over that she doesn’t want to be in bed, and that she wants Desi, who I won’t let go in, because I don’t think Desiree should be in there trying to make Megan happy, when Megan was sent to bed in trouble. And really that’s not the half of it!!! We go out to dinner tonight with Dad and Bubble, and Megan wouldn’t keep her flip flops on, which is a health code violation, not to mention it just being wrong to take your shoes off when you’re in a public place. So I told her she is no longer allowed to wear her flip flops. Than she kept getting her legs up at the table. Now I’m a firm believer that when you are eating out, that you should sit like a young lady, not like you are lounging in front of the tv or something…She would not listen, no matter how many times she was told by me, Grandpa, or Aunt Bubble, to keep her legs down!!!!

Father’s Day Coming

As Father’s Day approaches, I try to prepare….Bought a card for him today. Lot’s of people buy gifts for their Dad, but I have rarely had money to do so…I must admit that I wouldn’t really have a clue what to get him.

I guess that’s why this company is so cool. They make Fathers Day Baskets . They hand make our Fathers Day baskets with the finest chocolates, nuts, wines, cheeses and fruits. Guy Stuff

You know how so many of the guys like stuff like guns, and scopes for guns, and well, all that that goes with that type of stuff…I found this awesome place to get that type stuff….

I was with a guy, well okay, won’t dwell on that subject deeply, lets just say that he would have loved things like night vision binocularsor Tactical Gear but me, well I’m more into the flashlights or some such thing!!!

Hmm, what to talk about now…..Well, I need to clean house again this weekend…*sigh* Always have to clean house on the weekend!!!!

You know the girls have been really awesome about feeding and watering all the animals, helping me with dishes, but I have a problem getting them to help with laundry!! They are more than happy to help me get the washer or dryer started, will even empty them, but they won’t fold or put clothes away!!! I don’t remember how old I was when I started folding and putting away, but I know I’ve done it for as long as I can remember! *sigh* Considering the girls do help me out with that other stuff, am I expecting too much of them to fold and put away some of the clothes??? It just kind of bugs me, that the biggest job, gets left totally to me!!!

Footprints

Well as many of you know, I have been thinking about redesigning “Monster79 Reviews”…I haven’t done anything with it yet, BUT I did finally decide what I was going to name it!!!!!

will be where you can find scriptures, and thoughts on those words,…inspiring stories, and maybe the occasional book or movie review, if it fits…..

Now all I need to do is get it redesigned….

Carolyn, is there any way to change it from www.prairierosesamongthorns.com/reviews to www.prairierosesamongthorns.com/footprints or do we have to set up a whole new blog?? I had thought just to make over “reviews”, but than I guess it wouldn’t make any difference!!

 For the Header I would LOVE to have a picture of the “footprints” if anybody knows where to get one….

Subtle colors, but pleasing….Oh, I’m so excited to do this!!!! I can see just what I want in my head, now if I can just get it to come out on here, will be doing fine!!!

I just hope people take an interest in the new blog, as “reviews” seemed to flop horribly!!! I think “footprints” will be a nice place to go, if you need some peace and reassurance…I hope!!! That’s the kind of blog I would like it to be!!!

 Well all, back to work….Tomorrow, I think, I will do the entry that I’ve been planning…It’s going to be a very heart wrenching story, concerning one of my friends…I know you don’t know the story yet, but please keep Kelli in your prayers!!!!!!

Bombshell

I came into work tonight, only to find out that the house manager is resigning…Her last day will be the 15th…Couldn’t believe it, and still can’t…am shocked!!! She is moving to Lincoln, Ne. to take a simular job up there, only she will get paid more, she will have less people to care for…

*sighs* Just sucks!!! I’ve had my issues with Mel. but, well, we seemed to have worked them out in the last few months, and have had a good working relationship with her!!!

Have no idea who they will get to take her place….From what I know, none of the staff want to be manager, including me!!! For me, well, the promotion would be really cool, but it would mean WAY too much time away from the kids, and so I stay in my current position. *sighs* Probably some outsider….Just hope that person comes in here with a possitive attitude, and doesn’t try to change all the schedules around and such!!! Hope they don’t be trying to tell me how to do my job either!!!

 Okay, have a bad feeling about Mel leaving, the new house manager and all….Will pray about it, and try to have a more possitive outlook….
