Have a headache, stuck at work, just in a generally “blah” mood.
I do want to thank Carolyn for this great new look for my blog!!! She’s so awesome!!!!
Got accepted to a new paid company, well new for me anyway, but there is some problem, and I’m not able to do any posts….I go into the ops that I qualify for, and I still can’t do them, because it says I don’t have any approved blogs…Sent a note to Customer Service, but there are over 100 people in front of me, so it could take awhile…So much for making some money this week!!!
I did get my paycheck from work tonight, so that was good!! I am flat broke, and I really do mean BROKE!!! I cut things really close this time….This paycheck won’t last much past the weekend, as I have a ton of bills that need paid!!!
Am planning on going to Emporia this weekend…Need to get some cat food at the pet store, and than some things at Walmart….Also need to start getting Desi’s birthday stuff, so I have enough time/money to match what I got for Meg…Am coming up short on what to get her, but I guess I’ll think of something!! Was going to get her some Boxcar Children’s books on Ebay today, but I got outbidded…How dare they!! *LOL*
Also hope to stop by my Uncle’s place for awhile, while we are in town…Really have missed them over the years, and now I’m yearning to see them all the time. Some of the Cousins might be there too, which would be nice!!
Well anyway, that’s about all the news I have for now I think…
*HUGS*

Ethan, don’t be sorry about not commenting, just a weird little quirk I have I guess…I had no idea that you even read me!! *LOL* See, that’s why I like people to at least sign their names, that way I know who has been here. Hope work is going well for you!!!
Sandi, *big hugs*, you are just so awesome!!! I feel like I can come to you with any problem, and even if you don’t have a solution, you still offer your support and prayer!! Thanks so much for continueing to read my life!!!
Carolyn, are you EVER going to answer my emails???? *LOL* I know, you are snowed under with all you have going on, I just wanted to raz you a little!! Wanted to make sure you knew I was thinking about you!! *LOL* Get to me WHEN you can…*HUGS*
Oh, and I welcome Dionna, who was a first time commenter….Hope to see you more often!!
Okay, guess that’s all for now…*hugs* to you all!!! And thanks so much for being a part of my life!!!

Okay, so it’s 10 til 1am here, so am a smidgen late for actual Memorial Day, but it’s the thought that counts!!!
I am wondering if anyone ever comes to read me these days….I rarely get any notes! Of course I have been horrible about going and reading my favorites as well, however hopeful things are finally getting straightened around, to where I might have a routine of sorts….I hope!!! If you do read this, PLEASE sign your name, even if you don’t have a comment!!!!!
Have been agonizing over whether to keep my other blog/journal open, over at journalcommunity.com. This blog, and the one over at JC are both personal stuff, and than I have My Reviews, of which I’m hoping to revamp into A Walk With God or something like that….either way, with my Paid Blogging taking off here, and with hopes of doing Paid Blogging at My Reviews, time is limited!! Plus it’s hard for me to come up with all the personal stuff for here, and different personal stuff for JC….But I can’t very well copy and paste, because of Google and their red flags…There are just one or two people that I would miss having read my stuff, but I guess if they are truly interested in me, than they would take the time to come over here and read….I don’t know…Is giving me a headache trying to figure out what to do!!!!
Well, think I’m going to get out of here for tonight…do really have a headache, and have lost the will to write.
*hugs* to my friends….

*yawns* Is noon here, and I’m yawning…course that might be that I just got up, and I’m not awake yet….*LOL* Yes, I just got up, but you have to take into account that I usually work overnights, and that I was up until 3am this morning.
Have to go back to work tonight. Am not really looking forward to it, except that I get Holiday pay, and I have a few overtime hours scheduled. *sighs* The overtime wears me out, but I could really used the bit of extra money!!
Speaking of extra money, I made about $50 this week, with my paid blogging. May not seem like much to some folks, but that $50 is awesome to me!! If I could do something close to that every week, I’ll be an EXTRA happy camper!!!!
Girls are fine…They are happy, because they each got $5 for helping me clean up the house yesturday…Their help with the dishes was especially appreciated!! Had dishes piled high to the ceiling, plus some stuff that we had unpacked, but had never washed…I am happy to say, that with the girls help, we are completely caught up on dishes!!!! Hurray!!!!! Also have laundry all caught up, folded and put away, except for what’s in the washer and dryer, of which I will be putting away pretty soon…House is all vacuumed, and looking good. Now if we can only keep it looking nice!!
Well, that’s about all I can think of to talk about….Oh, please pray for us, that we get our schoolwork done, on a routine basis!!!
Thanks all…*hugs*

I have done several entries lately on places that I one day might want to visit on vacation. Well tonight here is another one. I think this is one of the ones that I most want to visit, not just for me, but for the kids. I’m talking about going to Orlando, to see Disney World. Who wouldn’t want to go?? Discount Disney Tickets guarantees the lowest prices on Disney tickets.
We are talking about a major Disney trip here, including 4 theme parks, and 2 water parks. This company has discounted tickets to everything Disney has to offer including Disneyquest, Downtown Disney Pleasure Island, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach Water Parks, as well as every Disney theme park ticket that is available. Sounds like a dream come true!!!!
And we couldn’t very well go to Orlando without seeing other great attractions like Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. For Night-time fun, dinner shows in Orlando are very popular. This company offers discount tickets to Arabian Nights, Medieval Times, Pirates Dinner Adventure, as well as all of the other major theme parks including Sea World tickets, Kennedy Space Center tickets, Universal Studios tickets, and more.
I’m sure sold!!! I can’t wait for the day when the girls and I can go, and you can bet that we will be checking out this company, for their discounted tickets!!

A friend sent this to me in an email, and I couldn’t resist sharing, as I thought is was a great story…It will bring tears to your eyes, if you are anything like me, and it will have you thanking God for such special people in the world.

Our dog Abbey died Aug. 23, and the day after Abbey died, my 4 yr. old, Meredith, was SO upset. She wanted to write a letter to God so that God would recognize Abbey in heaven. She told me what to write, and I did. Then she put 2 pictures of Abbey in the envelope. We addressed it to God in Heaven, put two stamps on it (because, as she said, it could be a long way to heaven). We put our return address on it, and I let her put it in the drop box at the post office that afternoon. She was absolutely sure that letter would get to heaven, and I wasn’t about to disillusion her.
So on Labor Day, we took the kids to the museum in Austin, and when we came home, there was a package wrapped in gold on our front porch. It was addressed to Meredith so, she took it inside and opened it.
Inside was a book, “When Your Pet Dies” by Mr. Rogers (Fred Rogers). On the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God, in it’s envelope (opened). On the opposite page was one of the pictures of Abbey taped on the page. On the back page was the other picture of Abbey, and this handwritten note on pink paper
“Dear Meredith,
I know that you will be happy to find out that Abbey arrived safely and soundly in heaven. Having the pictures you sent to me was a big help! I recognized Abbey right away! You know, Meredith, she isn’t sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me (just like it stays in your heart) young and running and playing. Abbey loved being your dog, you know. Since we don’t need our bodies in Heaven, I don’t have any pockets to keep things in–so I am sending you your beautiful letter back with the pictures–so that you will have this little memory book to keep. One of my angels is taking care of this for me. I hope this little book will help. Thank you for your beautiful letter. Thank your mother for sending it. What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you. God blesses you every day and remember, I love you very much. By the way, I am in heaven and everywhere there is love.
Signed,
God, and one of his special angels
(who wrote this letter after God told HER the words).
How wonderful is that? I never knew there were angels working the post office.

Well, by the end of tonight, or should I say when I get off in the morning, I will have worked 12 days straight, and will have something like 55 hours in for the week. The person that covers my nights off, was a no call no show last weekend, so my boss asked if I could work….Which I decided to do…and than I’ve also put in some extra hours throughout the week.
The thing that upsets me is the fact that she was a no call no show both nights this past weekend, so she should have been fired….but she wasn’t.
I am hoping that I get this weekend off, because my house looks like a tornado hit it!!! Dishes piled to the ceiling, laundry not far behind although at least most of it is clean, still needs folded and put away.
Have fallen behind with the girl’s schooling too, which concerns me. Wish they were just a bit older, so they didn’t need so much of my help and supervision to get their schooling done. The thought of putting them back in public school has crossed my mind….It’s NOT what I want to do…but we’ve missed so many days lately, because of work schedule, and of my need to sleep…This REALLY concerns me!!! I don’t want them in public school, but they NEED their schooling, and if I can’t manage to get it done on a consistant basis, than they are going to be worse off at home than in a mediocre public system. Please pray for guidance and wisdom for me!!!!!

I have recently talked about vacations and different places I would like to go, well….another place I would like to go is Hawaii! Hawaiian Beach Rentals seems like an awesome company to plan your vacation through.
On their site, you can find information about airfare, car rentals, hotels, extended stays, packages, condos….seems like they pretty much have every aspect of the vacation right at your finger tips, if you visit this site. Hawaiian Beach Rentals
One of of the Islands of Hawaii is Kauai. The pictures are over-whelming. White sand beaches, beautiful blue green water, AMAZING landscapes….The staff says “”We have traditionally specialized in providing our customers with alternative trips to Hawaii allowing them to stay in unique places and helping them coordinate the details of their dream vacation, be it romantic, active or relaxation focused”….*sighs* Now if only I had money to go!!! One of these days, I WILL see Hiwaii, and I will think about staying for the first time at a Kauai Condos Last Minute .
Doesn’t Hiwaii sound awesome??

It seems that silver is becoming quite popular…Did you know that world demand for silver now exceeds annual production, and has every year since 1990. I didn’t know that, until I found this site. I can’t say that I’m suprised though, as I often find silver jewelry more to my liking than gold or other metals.
But then that is neither here nor there, as I’m here to help promote Silver in a different form and for a different purpose. Silver bars represent an outstanding investment opportunity, and I will tell you why. Did you know that since the end of WWII, the U.S. government, has dumped billions and billions of ounces of silver bars onto the world market, effectively depressing silver prices. The U.S. used to have the largest stockpile of silver. Today, however, things are different. The government silver hoard is gone . . . and now the U.S. government is a silver buyer.
So, if you are looking for a new investment, why not silver??

My sister is in the middle of a very complicated custody issue, which has gone to the extent of having a Case Manager appointed to the case.
Well during a Mediation session last week, with the CM and her EX, schooling was brought up. My sister would like to homeschool Malachi, BUT the EX and the CM are pushing for Malachi to go to Public School. The Ex, who can’t spell very well, and if memory serves me correctly, can’t read very well, want Malachi to go to Public School, because Public School was good enough for him…..The CM is pushing Public School because of the lack of socialization that homeschooling supposedly provides. What worries my sister is that fact that she felt, althought the CM did not out and out say it, is that if she does not agree to put him in Public School, that he, the CM will order her to do so.
Does she have any way to fight this?? Anybody have any ideas???
REALLY appreciate all your help!!!! *hugs* to my friends!!!!
