He feeds her, makes she she has water, bathes her, and changes the litter box (as well as scooping it out on the days he doesn't change it.) As a result, Jared is the only one that Cuddles actually loves... MY dc were not ready to be totally responsible for a critter that young. Oldest was 11 when he got his hamster. We got a dog when he was younger, hoping he'd grow into taking care of it. But the DOG grew to be 115 lbs (a lot bigger than we expected for a Lab!) and so only Mom & Dad could do much with him for years! BTW - I read your blog all the time from my Bloglines page - just don't usually have time to comment! :o) Hmmm… MY dc were not ready to be totally responsible for a critter that young.
